Manchester United -2 Shalke 04 -0
Manchester United took one big step forward to a spot in the Champions league final by beating Shalke 04 2-0 at the German team's home stadium. Giggs and Rooney scored the two goals for United who look certain of going to the final unless they suffer a shock defeat at home. The game was a vintage United display with a lot of pressure and possesion they really took advantage of a scared looking shalke. Overall it was a very fun game to watch and United would have had plenty more goals if it wasnt for Manuel Nuer in goal for Shalke. The young German keeper has already anounced that he wants to leave the club at the end of the season for a bigger club and possibly Manchester United. After his display I must say I was very impressed. So this weekend Uinted have big rivals Arsenal to face off with on there way to their 19th title. It will be a good one!!!

Manchester United v Everton
Chicharito ! Chicharito ! Chicharito! The little mexican striker Javier Hernadaz aka Chicharito was on target for his 19 goal of the season. What a season the young man is having he truly has become a hero of the Manchester United Faithful!! After a great performance by the team as well as Evertons defense United finally scored and one the game 1-0. This win will surely help to winning the championship which is only 2 wins away. I believe United have this one in the bag but we will see!!!

Champions League: Manchester United 2 - Chelsea 1
Chicharito and Ji Sung Park Sung Park help send United to the semi final of the Champions League to face Shalke. Their goals help cancel out Chelsea's second half half comeback. The Red Devils showed how they could use Old Trafford as a fortress against away teams. The atmosphere was magnificent and the place was rocking with noise. Hopefully we can use this win to help us make the final of the FA cup when we take on Manchester City this weekend in the semi Final. This is going to be a big derby game and essential to Manchester United's season if they want to win the trebel. We will soon find out!!

Guest blog ( weather with Whitley)
Weather and soccer have a beautiful history some of the gretest games have been played in a down right soaker. With wet playing surface you lose traction and your ability to cut left and right are limitted butt some good soccer can occur. Wet surfaces can also affect how the ball bounces in some cases skips. ManU is playing this weekend and here is what I'm thinking for the weekend to come.
Sat

60% chance of rain
Sun

Mon

With these wet conditions you can be on the look out for some slipping and sliding but hopefully a ManU victory

International Break
This international break came at the perfect moment!! we needed these 2 weeks to get healthy are fully fit again. Hopefully the likes of Ji Sung Park and Anderson as well as Darren Fletcher as well as Rio Ferdinand are close to full fitness. This would be a major boost because we have several big games coming up including the FA cup semi final against our cross town rivals Manchester City. We also have the Champions league draw against Chelsea as well as the Premier League to focus on. If i had to pick i would choose the Premier league because we would be winning our 19 title which would put us over our arch rivals liverpool!! But as of now we are in 3 major competitions and it would be amazing to win all 3. Glory Glory Man United !!!

Weekend Roundup
After an exciting weekend that saw United bounce back fro 2 shock defeats in a row with a win against Arsenal at Home. This is a big boost for the massive draw at home on wednesday in the champions league against Marsielle. All theat United have to do is win and we are through to the quarter finals. This will be a big game because Marsielle are a good team that are not afraid. Sir Alex will surely pick the right team and with Wayne Rooney hitting full form the odds are with us. But the one thing about soccer is...you can never predict the score.

Project Derby Lineup
For the Derby tomorow I would invision Sir Alex would want to put in three center midfielders to stop the flow of Citys good play. I believe that in defence United will play a 4-5-1 with Rooney and Nani out wide and Berbatov alone up top. They will look to counter whenever they can and honestly I belive this is the best way to break City down, with speed. Well soon find out tmorow what happens. Glory Glory Man United!!

Manchester Derby Week
As all you Manchester United fans know this saturday is the ever increasing dramitic Manchester Derby. With Manchester United coming off a rather dissapointing loss to Wolves on saturday they will look to get back on form against a Manchester City side that thrashed West Brom 3-0. City will be desprate to make their claim to become Champions by cuting the gap to 2 points with a upset win at Old Trafford. Honestly I am glad United suffered the loss because it will serve as a reminder that anything can happen in soccer and im sure Sir Alex will be very keen on reminding his players that they must remain consistent in their form. Historicly this is were Manchester United become the strongest but we will find out how close the title race is this weekend. I will post pre match comments on projected line ups and other news as well as post match anaylsis so please feel free to share your thoughts and ideas with me. Glory Glory Man United!!
